Interestment’s Top 10: Christmas Songs
Including something by this guy…
With the exception of the slurred Pogues gem and the original Band Aid single, there are very few Christmas songs playing over and over again in shops and offices and tea rooms and pubs and cinemas that don’t make you want to tear your own face off and sprint into the street screaming. And yet, it’s a ridiculous state of affairs because there are actually some great festive jams out there, which I shall now list in no particular order. Being that Interestment is a place where Funk and Soul music reigns supreme, you won’t be surprised to see there’s definitely a groove in the air alongside some extremely recognisable faves. Anyway, I’d strongly suggest that you accompany these hits with a goblet of hot spicy wine and a sprig of mistletoe dangling hilariously over your groin…
