Alongside Iron Maiden, Denise Van Outen, Brian Belo, and Yazoo, Depeche Mode are responsible for putting Basildon on the map. They were a fantastic band when they first came along, with their weird electronic sound, and massive suits. Since then, it’s all gone a bit dark and sinister, mainly thanks to bloody heroin.
