Interestment shall be closing down… for a bit!

Some may have noticed a rather less churny-churny outy-outy period for the site, and sadly, it’s because the demands for money and employment and things like that have brought this labour of love to a rather abrupt halt.
The good news is that we shall be running a 100 Best Things About the Decade piece over the coming days, that the monthly comedy night is here to stay, and that Interestment shall definitely return at some point in 2010. Most probably when the money and work runs out.
On a personal note, thanks to all of the Interestment readers, who have made the last year (over a year, actually!) a total pleasure. It’s been great fun, I’ve produced some of the work that I most cherish- and I’ve written for The Sun, damn it! But most of all, thanks to the beautiful Interestment Family who have made the site something to really be proud of. With no money, no business brains, and no financial incentive, I think we’ve created something pretty bloody good. Big hugs all round!

A sad day for all… Hopefully you’ll get the sack from your job and will be able to continue Interestment. Yes, you may be living on the streets and begging for food but at least you’ll be keeping the masses happy!
