Forgotten hunks: Man and Baby

Great poster, just great…

Way, way back in the 1980s, when taste was but a mere afterthought , every female with wall space was mooning over this piece of 2-D eye cake,  wondering why none of the boys at school looked like this in PE.  In the 1980s, you see, you could bet your whole virginity that at least one girl within fifteen meter radius had this tacked to the side of her Argos Cabin bed, having ruthlessly binned  the Bananarama “Look In” poster for slightly more pubescent fare.  Not only was he hot, but he was good with kids! “What more could a woman ever, ever want?” we asked ourselves , brainwashed with innocent lust and gender stereotyping.  If you were a grown up back then, perhaps you had it framed in the living room to compliment your peach colour scheme, ceiling fan and corner sofa.  Yummy.

Of course, there shall be no poster boy for the girls, without a little something sexy for the boys. Below is Pamela Anderson.

You’re welcome.

Now, didn’t I read somewhere that the chappy in this picture didn’t like babies (or didn’t know he had a kid til it was older) and that he blew his entire fortune on drugs? Or was he father of the year? I forget. I must admit I never had that poster on my wall, but I did have one of Nick Heyward from Haircut 100 with a golfing sweater draped casually around his neck. Class.
