A remarkable snacking discovery

It’s a crisp revelation alright…

Hula Hoops

Oh yeah, we take our flavour combinations for granted now, but there was a time when cheese hadn’t been scoffed with pickle, chips were yet to find their ideal fishy bed partner, and the very thought of smearing marmalade on a duck would have had you killed. Yet, in unexpected moments of culinary flair, these strange and intriguing combinations were discovered, and now they’re all part of our day-to-day. It’s great. And now you can add another magnificent combo to that list – Cheese and Onion Hula Hoops mixed with Walkers Salt and Vinegar. That’s right, two completely different crisps sharing the same handful. It was a taste sensation discovered in a clumsy moment of drunken greed, as a very important member of the Interestment team shoveled crisps down in a vain attempt to sober up. That particular target wasn’t met, but the memory of the tangy Hula Hoops and the fierce acidic Walkers bouncing off one another, dancing all over the taste buds, perfectly balancing each other out, will live long in the memory. It’s already on today’s menu. And tomorrow’s.

You heard it here first. Perhaps.
