Forgotten beauties: Laura Harring

Woman makes weird film good…

For those who haven’t had the chance to watch it, Mulholland Drive is a movie by David Lynch about a girl who wants to be an actress, then gets a bit lesbian, then goes bonkers, then some little people yammer in tongues, then everyone starts crying. It’s a strange, confusing film – roughly as easy to follow as a pixelated Japanese gameshow – and anyone who left the cinema without a furrow in their brow was immediately bundled into the back of a van by some cops, driven to a mental hospital and sectioned. It’s just weird. And yet absolutely worth watching, thanks to the buxom raven haired beauty played by Laura Harring. What a gal she was, standing nakedly in a room, with both of them actually out. A spellbinding performance. She has since gone on to star in other things, and is a Countess in real life.

As ever, there will be no handsome brunette for the boys without a similar treat for the girls. Below is Tom Selleck.
