The Story of Love and Hate

Spike Lee, what a guy. He’s made some of the finest films ever known – Jungle Fever, Clockers, Do The Right Thing, Mo’ Better Blues.  He’s also made some bad ones, but we’re ignoring those because it’s his birthday, he’s 52 today. We sat in Sal’s for hours, demanding extra cheese on our slices to keep us going, discussing what to buy him. It boiled down to a toss up between a house music mix that our pal Robbie once made, or a clip from his finest film. In the end we got him both. Happy Birthday Spike!
