As the financial downturn drives once high flying businessmen in the direction of bottles of paint stripper, we’re far happier throwing small amounts of money at popular horse races. Of course, that basically means that we bet twice a year – once on the Grand National, and a second time on today’s Cheltenham Gold Cup.

A very well placed friend of the site had this little piece of inside tipping for us…

“Go each way on Air Force One – at around 28/1. The going is good and soft, which should suit his big hooves, plus he’s named after some excellent Nike trainers. That can only be a good thing.”

Place your bets here, gamblers!
