Forgotten beauties: Kimberley Davies

Otherwise known as Annalise from Neighbours

It was a strange day, the one when Annalise suddenly turned up in Neighbours. Until then, the most resounding bit of crumpet had either been Madge, Mrs Mangel, or any one of a conveyor belt of boyish girls with their sleeves rolled up and soft feathery perms. Australia, we assumed, did not do glamourous very well. But there she was – slender yet buxom, outrageously blonde haired, lips like big scarlet pillows. It was intriguing, terrifying and arousing all at the same time, and standing this woman next to Lou Carpenter was the television equivalent of having the Mona Lisa go out with Quasimodo. What a gal. It would be exactly the same if Scarlett Johansson suddenly joined the cast of Eastenders.

Of course, we would never grace the men with a startling young woman without tossing some hot meat at the girls. Below is Tom Selleck.
