Forgotten beauties: Sophie from Home and Away

Not to be confused with SALLY from Home and Away

It’s no secret that childhood and growing up is essentially a series of one crushing discovery after another. First Santa Clause doesn’t really exist, then Peter Beardsley shinpads won’t make you any good at football, and then Henry from Neighbours – played to perfection by Craig McLachlan, BTW – can casually turn up in Home and Away. As a different character! OMFG (right, kids?). Thankfully, to ease us through the crisis of reality was this woman, simply known as Rebekah Elmaloglou (pictured above, in high definition). She was almost as gorgeous as her name, and she played the part of Sophie, a foster child or something, who lived at the caravan place. She has been etched on our souls since 1989, but has seemingly done absolutely bugger all since leaving Summer Bay. What a gal.

As usual, we’re not going to wheel out a bosomy heartbreaker without giving the ladies what they need. Below is Tom Selleck.

You’re welcome.
