Forgotten beauties: Summer from Baywatch

This woman could make drowning worthwhile

Believe it or not, but there was a time when Baywatch was a hard hitting overview of lifeguarding in the US – facing the day to day perils of an angry ocean, hoiking dead bodies from the seas, Mitch Buchannon slowly descending into crippling alcoholism. Then producers realised that boobs and thong shots were the way forward, scoured porno mags like Playboy for new recruits, and it became the most astonishingly popular television show in the world. Yet, in amongst the buxom maniacs recruited was a thrilling young actress called Nicole Eggert – she played a life saver called Summer Quinn, who always seemed slightly confused. We absolutely adored her. Unfortunately, shortly afterwards, Pamela Anderson came along, and the whole thing became a little bit preposterous. Nicole was far too good for the show, she knew it, so she went on to seek her fortune in films we’ve never heard of, like Triangle Square and Wall of Secrets.

Of course, with it being the festive season, it would be awful of us to give the guys a sexy present without wrapping up something lovely for the girls as well. Below is Tom Selleck.
