Forgotten beauties: Molly Ringwald

Hottest redhead in the 1980s, fact

It’s weird that redheads/gingers have such a rotten time of it, because, frankly, some of them are astonishingly beautiful. Such as Molly Ringwald. Anyone who watched her give the geeky guy her underpants in Sixteen Candles, or put lipstick on with her boobs in The Breakfast Club already knows that this is one hot chick who means business. But, even better than either of those star turns was her tour de force in Pretty In Pink, where she played a poor girl from the wrong side of the tracks attempting to mingle with big-haired poshos with names like Steff and Blane. We weep every single time. Unfortunately, after that she went on to turn down parts in Pretty Woman and Ghost, and now plays in the centre of the midfield for Man United.

Of course, as ever, it would be very impolite to treat the guys to a flame-haired wonder, without gifting the dear women with something taut, muscular and sexual. Below is Tom Selleck.
